1.GRAPHICS DESIGNER / Webmaster (3 years contact)
Salary Scale: Band 5 (P214 628 – P321 899)
Main Purpose of the job:
Reporting to the corporate Communications Manager, the
incumbent responsibility will be to enhance the appearance of the Council’s
corporate identity through production of all BEC promotional materials such as
brochures, advertorials, flyers, posters
publications strictly in accordance with the design and template
specifications.
Position Requirements:
•A minimum Degree in Communications/Graphic Design,
Multimedia or related field. In addition, an outstanding project portfolio is
essential.
•A minimum of 3 years professional working experience,
preferably with a background in magazine and newspaper layout design.
•Ability to operate on Mac or windows platform as
we’ll as knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, Adobe CS3 design
package, Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and Freehand is
absolutely essential.
•Be able to upload website and intranet information
and handle related design and layout graphics work.
•The ability to do illustrations will be an added
advantage.
2.TYPESETTER – 2 positions (Re-advertisement)

Main Purpose of the Job:
To typeset quality examination material for
printing as assigned by the supervisor in accordance with production manual.
Position Requirements
•Diploma in Public Publishing (DTP)or related
field.
•At least 1 year post qualification experience in
Graphic design / desktop publishing (DTP) as well as hands on experience with
the appropriate DTP software
3.ASSISTANT RESEARCH OFFICER
Salary Scale: Band 6 (P126 035 – P234 751)
Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the senior research officer, the
incumbent responsibilities will be to support Senior Research Officer with the
design of studies, preparatory work for data collection, collection of data,
design of codebooks, collation and statistical analysis, graphic design and
information management in order to contribute to the preparation and
publication of quality research reports.
Position Requirements:
•At least Diploma in Statistics or related research
methodology, Diploma in ICT, with strong statistical and computational leaning.
•Graphical design capability is desired.
•At least 2 years post qualification experience in
research activities, preferably in the education field with hands on experience
in data collection and analysis and strong computer skills including data
processing programmes such as SSPS
4.INTERNAL AUDITOR (3 year contract)
Salary Scale:Band 5 (P214 620 – P321 899)
Main Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Senior Internal Auditor, the
incumbent will be responsible to carry out audits initiated by the internal
Audit office
Position Requirements:
•A bachelors degree in finance, accounting or other
related field or higher national diploma in Business or related eg (AAT etc)
•Part time qualification in ACCA or CIA
•A minimum of 3 years experience in an internal
auditing environment or working with a firm of Chartered Accountants.
•Hands on experience on the use of IDEA audit
software and TeamMate audit software.
