1.1.Job Role
The successful candidates will be responsible for
conducting analysis of the Society’s interest rate and liquidity risk and
producing income forecasting information, in support of an effective asset and
liability management function. The incumbent will assist in the development of
efficiencies to enhance asset and liability management.
1.2.Duties
•Providing secretarial services for the Asset and
Liability Management Committee
•Submitting regular reports to the Risk Manager
•Maintenance of a database of incidents and losses
reported
•Ensuring proper accounting of investments and
liabilities through the Finance Unit
1.3.Qualification and Experience
•A degree in Finance, accounting, economics or
other business field
•3 to 5 years of related experience in a financial
institution with exposure to assets and liabilities management
1.4.Competencies
•Knowledge of bank services and products
•Understanding of related legal and regulatory
requirements
•Familiarity with bank branch functions, policies
and procedures
•Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
•Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Power Point
•Good Oral presentation skills
•Training in financial risk management or asset and
liability management in relation to the financial services industry
