The successful candidate would be a
self-motivated, creative individual with a can-do attitude who is looking for a
challenging and rewarding career.
Under the direction of the Creative
Director, Alberta Radio, this position is ideally suited for an enthusiastic
team player who has the ability to see the big picture.
Typical responsibilities will
include:
Responsibilities:
– Create compelling and innovative
commercial production elements.
– Support and back-up image
production for all Alberta Radio Stations.
– Provide creative input at the
strategic level, and assist with creative production Development.
– Work closely with Sales,
Programming and our Clients.
– Consistently exceed client and
programming objectives while maximizing station objectives.
– Attend and participate in weekly
meetings as required
– Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
– Post-secondary education in
Broadcast production or a related field.
– Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience
in a similar role in a similar size market with a proven track record of
achievement.
– Proficient with all production
software platforms including but not limited to Pro Tools, MAESTRO and assorted
EQ software.
– Demonstrated success in handling a
deadline driven work day in where multi-tasking is the norm. Must possess a
valid driver’s licence.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office
products and Power Point.
– Highly motivated, dependable and
energetic
