Key responsibilities
- Update and monitor a system of
controls, procedures, and forms regarding recording of all BPR fixed
assets.
- Recommend to management any updates
to accounting policies related to fixed assets.
- Assign tag numbers to every fixed
assets acquired by BPR.
- Record fixed asset acquisitions and
dispositions in the fixed assets software solution.
- Track the compilation of project
costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the
related projects have been completed.
- Reconcile the balance in the fixed
asset software solution to the summary-level account in the fixed
inventory ledger on regular basis.
- Investigate the potential
obsolescence of fixed assets and report it to the management of the bank.
- Conduct periodic impairment reviews
for intangible assets.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory
counts of fixed assets and inventories.
- Recommend to management whether
fixed assets should be disposed of.
- Conduct analyses related to fixed
assets as requested by management.
- Prepare audit schedules relating to
fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries in all BPR
location.
- Represent the company during any
audits by external auditor that involves fixed assets audits.
- Track company expenditures for fixed
assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.
- Responsible for company inventories
management including in transit materials.
- Tracking all inventories requisition
forms, transfer forma and fixed assets stock cards.
- Providing monthly, quarterly and
annual fixed assets and inventories management reports.
Qualifications
required

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or
Accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in all
Microsoft office software.
- Knowledge of using SAGE PASTEL in
fixed assets and inventory model.
- Working experience of at least 3
years in a fixed asset tagging and inventory counting of a big company or
any fixed assets consulting company.
- Excellent English communication,
writing and presenting skills Ability to act and operate independently
with minimal daily direction from Manager to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to work cooperatively and
collaboratively with all levels of employees’ management, and external
agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving,
performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
