Child Care
“Room Assistant”

To work alongside and support the
teaching staff of the service. To always adhere to the Education and Care
Services National Regulations under the Education and Care Services National
Law, DECS regulations as well as the policies, goals and philosophy of the
service.

Assist the Group Leader in
co-ordinating the activities l
of the allocated group of children. Work with
other assistants to create a friendy, secure and stimulating environment
ensuring the achievement of each child’s education objectives.

To uphold the ‘National Quality
Framework’ and ‘National Quality Standards’ as per the ‘Service’s’ Philosophy,
goals, policies and procedures.
