PROJECT ENGINEER
(Selangor – Petaling Jaya)
Responsibilities:
The successful incumbent is responsible to assist the Building Technical Services & Projects Manager by keeping track of a project’s status whilst overseeing the various stages of development from concept to production and everything in between.
Job Description:
• Manage existing building refurbishment/upgrading projects.
• Co-ordinate between the consultants (Architects, Quantity Surveyor, M&E, C&S) for project proceedings and appointment of Main Contractor for the construction and completion.
• Co-ordinate with inter departments (Facility Managers, Accounts, others) for the relevant work process and updating management on the progress.
• Perform ad-hoc works as and when required by the management (provide support for Facilities Management).
• Project documentation and filing.
• Involvement in Due Diligence for new acquisitions.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess a Degree in Engineering (Civil & Structural) or equivalent.
• Preferably Engineers with 3 to 5 years working experience specializing in projects construction.
• Project management skills.
• Required skill(s) : MS Office. Knowledge in AutoCad will be an added advantage.
• Required language(s) : English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision and possess a high level of responsibility and commitment as well as a team player.
• Possess high motivation skills and are able to perform multi-tasking.
