The Australian Air
Force Cadets (AAFC) is Australia’s premier youth development organisation, and
conducts theory and practical training in aviation, fieldcraft and related
Defence force subjects, whilst encouraging personal development and leadership
skills for the young adult of tomorrow.

We are now looking
for dedicated individuals
to become part of the team at our Squadron’s in:

Townsville,
Cairns, Mackay, Mareeba, Innisfail, Ingham, Ayr, Bowen, Charters Towers,
 MT Isa & Weipa

 Applicants
will:

• Have an
  interest in Youth Development
• Be
  required to undergo medical and psychological assessment, and a federal
  police check.
• Be able
  to make a part
  time flexible commitment to the organisation (1 evening per
  week, several weekends per year and participate in a week long activity
  once a year).

A successful
applicant would ideally be someone with drive, commitment, good people skills
and a passion for youth development. Our instructors come from all walks of
life and occupations and while previous defence knowledge is desirable, it is
not essential.
