Our client, a well-known and established company in in-flight entertainment, is inviting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position as an Application Integration Specialist
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Liaison between the Corporate Engineering and Applications group as well as other 3rd Party providers, aiding one to understand the other and to provide a vehicle through which all parties can communicate and perform evaluation and integration works effectively
• Assist with setup, support and maintenance of in-flight entertainment (IFE) Systems equipment for Application Testing & Integration purposes
• Actively work with Application providers on technical feasibility studies; In areas of performance, reliability and maintainability of the software application
• Generate effective test procedures and perform extensive software testing
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Diploma/Degree in IT/Software Engineering (or equivalent)
• More than 3yrs experience in application development / integration in a Linux environment
• Good knowledge in areas of GUI/Development Libraries as well as General Linux admin & configuration
• Knowledge with Open source tools / applications in Linux-based environment
• Knowledge of Qt / QML, Android development is an advantage
• Acumen for troubleshooting integration issues
• Strong general knowledge of development tools in the market
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
