Job

All Across Africa
(AAA) is a development organization with operations in Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi
and Kenya. AAA believes sustainable jobs that pay a living wage are the answer
to poverty. AAA works to effectively create market-driven employment
opportunities for impoverished people.
Most of the world’s
poor are living in rural areas, representing the largest and most uniform group
of poor people in the world. Instead of giving handouts, AAA invests in serving
rural artisans to generate a permanent gain in family income. We provide
artisans with a “market bundle” that includes education, finance,
materials, and market access. Our program has a proven track-record – every
year, we export thousands of products to the US market and measure more than
100% average gain in beneficiary income. We have an intense focus on generating
better lives for the people that we serve.
Currently, in
Rwanda, we employ over 3,000 East African producers who create beautiful
handmade, high-quality products. Managing both the production and the market
give us a competitive edge that allows us to sell the tens of thousands of
handmade products.
The Rwanda Country
Director position is directly responsible for the success of Rwanda’s operation
– including the training and employment of thousands of rural artisans and
rural unemployed youth and the opportunity for thousands to connect with an
international market.
