Telecommunication Company in Rwanda and is seeing to recruit a result driven
and motivated individual for the vacancy above;
To lead Network
Performance & Optimization and Planning activities to improve network
quality and enhance the coverage from the existing n/w resources. Should be
able to ensure MS/MC partner is guided/mentored/monitored to deliver Airtel
Requirements
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordination
with OpCo’s technical & business teams for Network Quality
deliverables. - Perform
various Network Quality periodic audits such as Parameter audit, Site data
Audit, Regulatory compliance audit, Data Audit. - Periodic
review with OpCo’s for Network Quality improvement. - New
Network Quality feature implementation/Recommendation in coordination with
partners. - POC of
all new network quality features and products. - Contract
implementation and signoff as per the contract. - Alignment
with Regulatory requirements. - To
start new initiatives to improve customer perception and to give +1
network experience. - Escalation
of other department issues which are impacting network quality. - Replicate
best practices from other Anglo OpCos - Streamlining
of processes so that all the OpCo’s are on the same page. - Strong
Co-ordination & Review Management Skill - Thorough
end to end knowledge to micro manage problems - Strong
Driving Ability. - Strong
Inter Group Communication and Interpersonal skills. - Team
Player - Immaculate
convincing powers so that is able to drive all the Partners.
Qualification and
Skills:
- Bachelor
Holder in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics or Telecommunications
Engineering. - Should
have led Technical function of a similar scale. - Total
Experience : 8 to 10 years in Network performance & Optimization
and Planning preferably on Ericsson Systems - 2G
Experience: 5 to 7 years. - 3G
Experience: 5 to 7 years - Should
have end to end network knowledge ( RF both Planning & Performance) - Should
be able to audit the systems with hands-on understanding of Parameters for
both 2G and 3G - Should
be able to sync and met all the regulatory requirements. - TX
knowledge will be added advantage - Should
be able to develop/implement processes to streamline the day to day activities
related to network quality. - Should
be able to understand the contracts and work accordingly.
