Our client is a Telecommunication Company in Rwanda
and is seeking to recruit a results driven and motivated individuals for the
vacancy above.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • To understand each element of the Airtel
    business objectives.
  • Achieve the set daily/weekly/monthly sales
    volumes for Airtel products across the board.
  • Implement retail promotion activities for
    specified Airtel Products within promotional timelines.
  • Respond to sales questions and concerns as and
    when they arise pertaining the product or service.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential and
    determine the value of existing and prospective customer’s value to the
    organization.
  • Identifies advantages and compares
    organization’s products/services in the market.
  • Provide feedback on current market situations.
  • Prepare required sales reports.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned from time
    to time.
Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum Advanced higher Education Certificate
    or equivalent.
  • One year sales experience.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Self-driven attitude.
  • Team work and Partnering.
  • Resourceful, well organized, highly
    dependable.
  • Good Planning and prospecting skills.
  • Must be confident and able to effectively communicate.
  • Must be fluent in English and Kinyarwanda.

2. Manager
Planning, Reporting and Process Compliance
Job Purpose
Provide support to the SCM team through
implementation and monitoring of policies and processes, management of ERP
Master data and Vendor Performance management to ensure efficient operations
and compliance with controls requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Business Planning, Reporting and Performance Monitoring
for the SCM Function  
  • Able to understand the Annual operating, plan,
    monitor the plan vs. actual
  • Participate in the annual budgeting exercise
    for SCM.
  • Provide inputs on Cost Projections and
    Strategies for Optimization
  • Support the inputs through information on
    benchmark Cost & Price Performance
  • Ability  to extracts reports from
    Oracle
  • Regularly Maintain the Capex & Opex
    tracker
  • Monitors the utilization of approved Capex and
    Opex
  • Understand the key parameters of the
    function’s performance
  • Make all accurate reports, collects data and
    maintain it regularly
Master Data and ERP maintenance
  • Management and maintenance of Oracle master
    data for PO, Contracts and Inventory modules
  • Responsible for coaching and training the
    teams for correct usage of the system and processes
  • Liaison with the HQ process team for
    implementing system improvements time to time
Vendor Helpdesk management
  • Vendor payment tracker maintenance
  • Follow-up and monitor vendors performance
    evaluations
  • Contract database maintenance
Process & Policy Review, Implementation and
Compliance Monitoring
  • Responsible for all SCM processes, policies
    reviews and implementation in alignment with the Airtel Africa SCM Blue
    Book
  • Ensure alignment of policies and process with
    other functional process (eg. Finance, HR), through periodic monitoring of
    deployment status and review of performance
  • Responsible for coordination of Audit, ensure
    compliances, Monitor to resolves all non-compliances
People Development
  • Establish performance parameters for the team
    in form of KRAs and periodically provide feedback to ensure enhanced
    performance.
  • Identify development needs of team members and
    ensure that these are fulfilled in a planned manner.
  • Create provisions for knowledge and best
    practice sharing within the team at HO & FM Team at businesses.
  • Identify and deploy programs for improving
    engagement level of team members.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualification in Business Administration,
    Finance or Engineering
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Relevant 2 years of varied experience in
    Telecom
  • Sound understanding and extensive experience
    in Planning and Reporting
  • Experience in Planning, Audit and Reporting
    function
  • Functional knowledge of SCM Operations
  • Preferably knowledge on ERP/Oracle for SCM
  • Excellent with MS Office products.
