Software Engineering Manager – GTower Jalan Tun Razak
(Location: Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
• Develops, leads and inspires a team of software engineers
• Ensures that the engineering team’s knowledge
• Skills and capacity are up-to-date, and that the team collaborates with other disciplines
• Ensures that release cycles are planned, executed and deployed
• Executes the technology strategy in related field to support the corporate technology strategy
• Executes the solution development plan
• Collaborates with technical proposition managers to deliver solutions in line with the roadmaps and corporate plans and initiatives
• Generally defined problem solving
• Thinking within general policies, principles and goals of the organisation.
• Solutions constantly requiring adaption or development of new solutions through analytical, interpretative, evaluative, creative and innovative thinking
Requirements:
• Degree in computer Science/IT/related
• At least ten years experience in software engineering
• Two years experience in leading a team of Technology professionals preferred
• Trained in managerial skills
• Ability to create and foster a team environment that encourages initiative, creativity, people development and achievement of goals, commercial orientation, motivational skills and developing others
