General
Description of the Position:
Aegis
Trust is looking for a highly qualified Human Resources Coordinator for
its Rwanda – Kigali office who will lead on HR assessments, HR strategy,
coordinate recruitmentand develop robust systems, policy and practice on
people management. This role need to work closely with Director Finance and
Operations to develop due diligence policies and procedures for the
organizations

Outputs/Responsibilities
(Accountabilities
and Results)
- Maintains
management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human
resource policies and procedures
- Maintain
personal files for all employees and systematic filing system human
resource reports correspondence and other documents for the purpose of
confidentiality.
- Ensures
legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human
resource country requirements, conducting investigations and maintaining
records
- Monitor
staff performance and attendance activities.
- Coordinate
staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely
organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff.
- Provide
information and assistance to staff, supervisors and Council on human
resource and work related issues.
- Initialand
follow up the recruitment process according to the approved structure
- Keep
statistics on employees movements at work (leave for service, medical
reason, personal reason or annual leave)
- Provide
sound advice to the Country Director/Africa Representative/Director
Finance & Operations on all issues related to employees.
- Propose
to the Human Resource Manager training and Development Programs to
addressemployee’s skills gap;
- Prepare
Salary payments and all accompanied procedures RSSB (CSR, RAMA) and tax
Declarations to Rwanda Revenue Authority)
- Enough
working experience of international donors requirements (DFID, EC, SIDA,
USAID)
- Maintains
a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting
job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling
individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay
structure revisions.
- Perform
other related duties as required

Qualifications
- Master
Degree or minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Recourses or related field
- Well
aware and excellent understanding of Rwandan Labour Laws
- Minimum
five or more years related experience and/or training as an HR
Coordinator
- Minimum
two years’ experience working with international organizations / NGOs
- Highly
competent in computers and MS Office
- Understanding
of budget and cost control management
- Strong
interpersonal and interviewing skills essential
