leading charity for genocide prevention, is seeking applications for the
following newly created roles at our Kigali branch office as a result of recent
expansion:

Head of
Research, Policy and Higher Education – 2.5 Year fixed term contract

Key
Responsibilities

• Develop
  and implement a research agenda and scope of interest for the Research,
  Policy and Higher Education Unit, that aims to greatly advance the field
  of research on effective policy and practice to end genocide and mass
  atrocities..
• Creator,
  designer and editor of new Working Paper Series on genocide and mass
  atrocity prevention
• Oversee
  the development and implementation of the field course on Genocide
  Prevention and Peace-building
• Develop
  and manage strategic and operational plans for the Research, Policy and
  Higher Education Unit.

Minimum
Education and Experience

• Masters
  degree in social sciences, public policy, international development
• Training/Professional
  expertise in evaluation and research methods
• 7+
  years of professional experience in role(s) with comparable levels of
  international complexity and technical relevance in monitoring,
  evaluation, research and policy development.
