The Aegis Trust, a
leading charity for genocide prevention, is seeking applications for the
following newly created roles at our Kigali branch office as a result of recent
expansion:
Director of
Education – 2.5 Year fixed term
contract
Key
Responsibilities
- Advance
the pedagogical aspects under the Programme, ensuring the national
curriculum is incorporated, developing teacher training approaches and
educational resources.
- Oversee
the programme evaluation as it relates to the Education Programmes,
ensuring the evaluation strikes a balance across core evaluation
principles. - Ensure
ongoing relevance of key measurements, standards, tools, and M&E processes
by guiding the periodic review of the Programmes M&E framework and
implementation.
Minimum
Education and Experience
- Proven
experience as a highly effective education practitioner. - Experience
in working internationally, with international partners in a relevant
field.. - Expertise
in and confident understanding of pedagogy
