Senior Financial Analyst (Management reporting / Controlling functions)
We are currently looking for a high calibre and motivated individual to be part of our Clients Finance in Singapore.

This position reports to the Regional & Business Development Director, in the areas of financial analysis and explanations on business performance for the emerging markets ie Indonesia, Cambodia, Philippines and Thailand. Participate in a business review meeting and provide ad hoc financial simulation for business strategy. The individual will be a key to go-to person to serve as a vital decision maker and contributor. The individual use and apply a broad, problem-solving skills, crucial ‘soft skills’ as well as learn technical accounting principles to create a well-rounded role while providing value-added services

Job description:

Management Reporting and Analysis
• Provide performance reports, presentations for management. Analyzes these reports for significant trends and issues with commentaries that should be highlighted for senior management.
• Develop business performance forecast trend and analysis for management review and decision.
• Assisting management in the understanding of financial implications of business decisions, from trends, product pricing, and accounting conclusions.
• Perform monthly closing and accruals on discount/commissions and marketing expenses. Monitor and review the full P&L.
• Controlling oversight on Vietnam, Emerging Markets & Thailand

Brand Plan / Forecast financial Reporting:
• Develop the brand plan reports, presentation and analysis these reports for significant trend and issues with commentaries highlighted for senior management review
• Perform all relevant simulations for decision-making process
• Develop the financial presentation for Brand QRM and participate in selected key QRM for business knowledge development.

Strategy projects and Ad-hoc analysis/tasks:
• Support Regional Director and Country MDs on company strategy projects and perform necessary financial simulations for management review and decision.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and presentation slides for management
• Support markets in implementing local projects

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent
• 9 years+ relevant experience in Financial planning & Reporting area in MNC, ideally in more than one finance function
• Strong organizational skills, in particular, an attention to detail and the ability to prepare reports in a timely and effective manner.
• Ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports and skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data.
• Ability to prepare a variety of financial statements, reports and analyses as well as accuracy in working with large amounts of data.
• Ability to prepare business cases and simulations to support a growing business
• Proficiency with Excel is required. SAP and SAP Business Analyzer knowledge is a plus
• Excellent time management skills, with an ability to prioritize and plan, and deliver results to tight deadlines and with quality
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with supervisors and personnel and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, business partners and company officials.
• Ability to deal with problem and provide solutions to management
