Water Industry
Excellent opportunity to work on
a wastewater flow measurement project for a large water authority.
Working
with a small friendly team, you will further develop your analytical
skills by undertaking training in analysing data from flow
monitoring projects. Specifically you will become proficient in remote data

monitoring projects. Specifically you will become proficient in remote data
collection, data review and edit, flow balancing and reporting. On completion
of training you will manage flow gauging sites to ensure data reliability and
integrity.
You will be keen to kick start
your career in the water industry. Ideally you will have a proven interest
in hydrography through experience and/or tertiary education. You
will demonstrate you are detail oriented, and able to make informed
decisions independently. You will enjoy deriving results from large data
sets.
Other key requirements are:
- Engineering or Science degree or equivalent.
- Excellent computer skills and aptitude for learning new
programs - Understanding of open channel flow measurement
principles desirable. - Experience or aptitude for interpreting and analysing
large data sets. - Maturity, responsible nature and good judgement.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work to tight schedules.
This
is a contract role for 4-6 months due to high project volumes. Opportunities
for further engagement beyond the initial 6 months will depend on operational
requirements.
