ACDI/VOCA Senior Technical Specialists Jobs Vacancies in Rwanda

global economy. Based in Washington, D.C., ACDI/VOCA is a nonprofit
international development organization that delivers technical and management
assistance in agribusiness, financial services, enterprise development,
community development and food security in order to promote broad-based
economic growth and vibrant civil society. ACDI/VOCA currently has
approximately 60 projects in 30 countries and total revenues of $173 million.

We are seeking Senior Technical Specialists
for an anticipated multiyear, USAID-funded Feed the Future project in Rwanda
called Private Sector Driven Agricultural Growth (PSD-AG). This project will
increase smallholder incomes by promoting private sector investments that
contribute to transforming agriculture into a market-oriented, competitive, and
high-value sector.
Seeking candidates for the following positions:
  • Investment and Ag Finance Specialist:
    Demonstrated experience facilitating access to finance for small and
    medium enterprises (SMEs) in the agriculture sector. Experience developing
    agricultural and rural finance products such as warehouse receipts.
  • Market Linkages Specialist: Demonstrated
    experience facilitating partnerships and transactions between value chain
    actors in the staples sector.
  • Institutional Capacity Building Expert:
    Experience developing and implementing institutional and sustainable
    strategies for local organizations. Demonstrated ability to work with and
    obtain support of private sector stakeholders.
  • Business Development Advisor: Demonstrated
    experience providing business development services to SMEs in the areas of
    marketing, finance and investment.
  • Market Information System Specialist:
    Experience developing commercially driven MIS platforms and leveraging
    private sector buy in and investment.
  • Gender Specialist: Experience integrating
    gender into programmatic interventions.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in international trade,
    economics, business administration, or other relevant area
  • Minimum eight years of progressive
    professional experience in an applicable subject area
  • Excellent English and French language skills.
