We are
seeking Chief of Party candidates for a multiyear, USAID-funded project in
Rwanda, Private-Sector Driven Agricultural Growth (PSD-AG). The program will
increase smallholder incomes by promoting private sector investments that
contribute to the government of Rwanda’s Vision 2020 aim of ‘transforming
agriculture into a market-oriented, competitive, and high value-sector.’

Technical
Qualifications:

Experience in a mix of value chain
competitiveness, investment promotion, agribusiness development, and
business enabling environment.
Demonstrated experience in managing market-led
agriculture investment promotion programs, preferably with a value chain
growth focus.
Proven ability to analyze and identify
national and international market opportunities, build commercially viable
relationships with private sector actors and facilitate investments in
upgrading.
Demonstrated effectiveness in building
partnerships with host country governments, and providing advisory support
to senior level decision makers.
Demonstrated experience in policy formulation
and analysis, particularly as it relates to trade and investment
promotion.

Minimum
Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of progressively
responsible supervisory work experience.
At least 5 years of chief-of-party experience
in managing large (at least $10 million) USAID-funded projects.
Fluency in English and French preferred.
M.S., M.B.A., or other post-graduate degree in
trade, agricultural development, institutional development or other
relevant field.
