This specialist structural consultancy located in the Melbourne CBD has remained steady throughout a tumultuous 2011 and is well positioned with projects awarded for early 2012, they have a small team of experienced professionals and offer industry leading training and development to their people, a number of their staff have gone on to lead other high profile CAD and BIM teams in Melbourne due to these strong foundations.
Due to their project outlook for early 2012 and developing BIM team they now require an ambitious Structural Drafter to produce join the team, you will produce structural documentation and REVIT models for commercial & industrial structures in steel and concrete using REVIT & AutoCAD, as well as the occasional ancillary civil job.
As the ideal candidate you will possess:
• 3-6 years of local experience as a Structural Drafter
• A good understanding of structural documentation in AutoCAD
• At least some professional experience in the use of REVIT
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to work with minimal supervision
