Job Announcement
Rwanda Co-operative Agency (RCA) is a Public institution in charge of
Promotion, Registration and Regulation of Cooperatives in the Country. RCA
wishes to recruit competent and qualifying candidates to fill the 4 various
vacant positions in its structure. For the job positions, reporting relations
and the location, please see below:
Position : 3 SACCOs Supervisors
– Duties and responsibilities
• Inspect systematically and permanently the books of accounts and other
statutory books of SACCOs all over the Country;
• Communicate the results of supervision/inspection to the SACCOs’ Committees
and, whereas needed, to the General Assembly of a SACCO;
• Inform the DG of RCA about the findings of the inspection report;
• Recommend urgent audits for those SACCOs that are obviously mismanaged or
whose leaders are simply suspected of malpractices;
• Take appropriate, urgent and protective measures in order to ensure the
safety of SACCOs members’ property in case of obvious malpractices or misuse of
SACCOs’ funds by anyone.
• Report to Management of SACCOs all measures taken;
• Regularly exchange information with BNR on the management status of SACCOs
countrywide and share views on the best way to improve it where needed;
• Perform any other task assigned by the Management.
– Required skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Audit, Accounting, Finance, Management and Economics;
• Team player how can work effectively and constructively with different people
and Institutions and deliver results;
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills ;
• Good IT and computer literacy skills;
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda;
• Fluency in English and/or French and a working knowledge of the other
language.
