The
Finance Manager will play a vital role in initiating and maintaining the
financial standing of our company. This position is expected to help determine
financial strategy and policy, arranging the appropriate fun

financial risks in the organization. She/he has to ensure that the company has
the cash and liquidity to meet its obligations, she/he will be involved in
securing credit from banks and other sources, comply with tax, HR and other
compliance matters. The Finance Manager will be an official point of contact
for all financial matters and one of the authorized signatories on all
financial documents.
DUTIES
The

- Managing
daily cash balances; - Ensuring
that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate
effectively; - Forecasting
cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow; - Maintain
banking relationships and negotiating loans and merchant services for
business units; - Maintaining
a sound accounts system; - Preparing
and presenting financial reports for meetings and investors; - Working
with executives and business heads to prepare budgets and track profit /
loss performance by business unit and on consolidated basis - Creating
solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial/treasury
knowledge; - Liaising
with other departments and business units on a range of issues; - Providing
advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole; - Prepare
monthly, quarterly and annually financial trend (Profit and Loss Account), - Taking
responsibility for, and supervising the work of, more junior members of
staff; - Preparing
financial reports and submissions to relevant government entities, - Arranging
financial audits and reviews as required, - Processing
credit card payments received and transferring money from accounts; - Maintaining
and transferring money between bank accounts as required; - Payment
of invoices and fees as required or otherwise instructed; - Manage
payroll and related matters for Company, business units and subsidiaries; - Complete
tax filings and dealing with matters relating to the Taxes, - Statutory
financial reporting for audit, in line with SORP regulations - Preparation
of Annual Budget and forecasts - Monthly
bank reconciliations - Receive
all purchase invoices and ensure they are appropriately authorized in
accordance with the financial procedures - Make
payments of all authorized invoices; - Create
appropriate book keeping entries, create accruals where necessary, - Communicating
strategy and policy decisions to senior management, - Ensure
appropriate backups of financial information are stored off site, - Assist
with financial aspects of contract negotiations, - Perform
other tasks given by the Managing Director.
CAPABILITIES
- Detail
oriented and organized; Strong planning and prioritization abilities; - Must
maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects and be comfortable
with flexibilities,
- Excellent
written and oral in English and Kinyarwanda. French is an advantage ; - Having
axcellent communication skills and be Customer service
oriented ; - Being
meticulous and eye for details ; - Good
sense of responsibility ; - Ability
to maintain focus as well as to perform multitasks services ; - Good
judgment to make financial decisions ; - Ability
to work in team .
QUALIFICATION
AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Bachelor’s
degree in finance or accounting; Having ACCA/CPA will be an added
advantage - At
least 8 years of progressively responsible finance or treasury experience; - Computer
literacy including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Offices (Mainly
Excel, word and Visio), - Standard
accounting software packages;
