The objectives are:
1. Sensitization of community leaders on Gender and Human Rights and support for appropriate economic programmes for extremely vulnerable families in Moroto District
2. Protect the most vulnerable and enhance incomes and food security of agro-pastoral communities in Karamoja in an environmentally responsible approach.
3. Productive infrastructure in support of farming rebuilt, while increasing enhancing farmers access to funds and production enhancing tools and technologies

Site Supervisors (2)
National Contract, Fixed Term with possibility of extension Based in Moroto
The role:
• Reporting to the Civil Engineer, you will work at the sub county level to implement and co-ordinate public works in the communities.
• You will draft estimates of technical material needed for the work. You will assist the Civil Engineers in selection of beneficiaries and monitoring the daily attendance of beneficiaries.
• You will monitor the work progress according to standards set by the District, assign the tasks for the community on a daily basis and assist the National roject manager and civil engineers in meetings with the community.
• You will draw up realistic work plans for targeted roads, assist the Civil engineer in writing the monthly progress report and assist in writing the end of project report.
• You will attend the weekly Road Rehabilitation Meetings.
Requirement:
The Person:
• You will have a professional qualification in the related field from a recognised institution.
• Proven professional experience or technical background (at least 2 years) in Engineering and working experience in implementing community projects with an international NGO preferred.
• You will be able to plan and manage a complex and busy workload.
• You will have excellent documentation and recording skills including the use of MS Office, ability and commitment to work with protection service providers and community members in a sensitive, non-judgemental and objective manner, combined with ability to apply experimental learning.
• You will have ability to work as a part of a diverse team irrespective of ethnicity, gender or age and adhere to the ethos and values of the project.
• You need commitment to travel and work in remote areas. Fluency in English and N’ka Karamojong required. Motorcycle license is a must
