ArtsBuild Ontario is looking for a
Communications Coordinator who can take lead on communications for ArtsBuild
while also supporting the Director of Programs on related programs and projects.
Your creativity will be constantly in demand, as will your organizational
skills, enthusiasm and self-motivation.

Reporting to the Director of
Programs, responsibilities include leading communications, supporting
organizations in their learning about the programs and other tools and
resources. This may require contacting arts organizations directly, liaising
with partner organizations and proposing new ways of reaching our
constituents.

MARKETING&COMMUNICATIONS
• Develop, format, review and
disseminate materials such as newsletters, alerts and email blasts to engage
audiences using social media and other communication methods to increase
program participation

the social media plan, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, ArtsBuild

• Maintain/update website

& communications counterparts at ArtsBuild’s partner organizations

Requirements:
Experience
• A minimum requirement of an
undergraduate degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications or the
equivalent

• A graduate degree or a
post-graduate diploma in a related field would be considered an asset

• A working knowledge of a variety
of arts disciplines as well previous experience working in the cultural sector

• Established rapport with arts

Skills Required
• Proficient in WordPress,
