Organization: Alectric Solar Inc.
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Position Type: Full Time, Hourly, 40 hours minimum (50-60 hour weeks
if you want)
Job Location: Toronto and surrounding areas (Frequent Travel Required
to Job Sites across GTA)
Job Description:
Working as a member of a 4 person crew you will:
• Prep job sites and staging areas
• Assist and manage site materials, coordinate and clean sites
• Layout and install solar racking systems and solar modules
• Work with a great team and learn on the job
Opportunities to work on both commercial and residential projects
Job Requirements:
• Previous experience with solar preferred
• Strong carpentry skills/training
• Interest in the renewables/solar sector
• Educational background in solar energy and roofing
• Must have experience on construction sites and working with hand
tools; for example: prior carpentry, electrical, HVAC or roofing work
• Comfort working on flat and pitched roofs
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Ability to work fast and be proactive
• Fall protection training an asset
• Must have Glass G Drivers’ License to avail of a company vehicle
