The Director of
Productionwill oversee all production activities for 31Bits in the Gulu
compound in northern Uganda. The Director of Production is a position requiring
the applicant to live and
work in Uganda. We ask that the applicant is willing
to make a 18 month commitment. Director of Production will receive housing,
transportation, and salary.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Quality Control:
The Director of Production will be in charge of quality management and will
oversee the following activities: – Checking the quality of products being
completed by beneficiaries – Managing work of Quality Control Intern – Advising
beneficiaries on areas of needed improvement – Documenting all finished
products purchased from beneficiaries – Managing and overseeing work of
Operations Managers

2. Production: The
Director of Production will track all production of the Gulu,northern Uganda
compound. Specific tasks are: – Assigning bi-monthly production to every
beneficiary – Tracking production to ensure orders are completed on time –
Documenting beneficiaries completed products and bi-monthly supplies – Documenting
shipment numbers to send to the International Director

3. Other
responsibilities: – Weekly meetings with the International Director –
Facilitate and manage the 31 Bits tagging department – Complete any other tasks
requested

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate
will have experience living, working, or volunteering abroad. They will have
knowledge about the 31 Bits Designs organization and be passionate about our
mission and vision. The candidate should have background and knowledge in
operations and management. We are looking for an individual who is passionate
about our cause, and desires to have a positive impact on women’s lives in
northern Uganda.

Requirements: –
Attained a Bachelor’s degree – Management experience – Experience working in an
operations setting – Comfortable working with a Christian organization -Strong
analytical problem solving skills -Organized -Strong
interpersonal/communication skills -Able to take self-initiative – Fast learner
-Independent -Traveled abroad -Shows patience and compassion -Enjoy working in
a TEAM
