Obiaba Football Academy is arguably by far the best and most successful in Nigeria and one of the best in the continent. We are based at Obiaba Football Complex, Aba, Abia State Nigeria.
We provide a very good upper standard facilities and with Abia state top class coaching staff working on every aspect of the game we have created and developed the perfect environment for the stars of tomorrow, the youth coaching team ensures that the best practice is designed and delivered in the area such as game awareness development, technical development, physical and tactical developments respectively, With a comprehensive approved football curriculum and sport science and psychology program tailored and designed to suit the needs of individual players.
Above all, while dealing with their football needs we also travel to impact on the players lives in a historic way such as players’ welfare, education, and lifestyle.
Our Structure
We are responsible for all the players and we operate usually with a training group of under 13 this U13 goes through Educational, motivational and informative missions getting prepared for the next level. They play 7-a side football in the first half of their session before moving to 11 aside at the end of the year, at this point they will be playing a variety of useful modified games of 11 a side with a reduced sized pitch.
Nest up is 14-17, U17 Team plays in the junior league in Abia State and other interstate competitions our program is a very criterion driven based on a minimum required standard relating to coaching qualification and facilities recruitment and support structure this involves a series of weekly and monthly against other professional.
AT 17 we are highly confident that our young talents have in great physical ability, unbelievably technical and tactical developed enough for a professional anywhere in the world.
