Regina Daniel ‘s father, Jude Ojegwu, has made peace with her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko.
Last year, Mr Ojegwu fiercely opposed her relationship with the 59-year-old billionaire. Ojegwu has been opposed to the union because of the age gap between his daughter and Mr. Nwoko, according to family sources.
It was a big surprise for everyone when he turned up on Friday, July 10, at the naming ceremony of the son of the couple and his grandson, Munir Neji Nwoko.
Mr. Ojegwu, speaking to newsmen, said his grandson’s birth made him reconcile with Nwoko, for peace, joy , and happiness.
“The birth of this child has answered the question (about the controversy). Everybody craves for peace, joy, and happiness. I have accepted everything. I feel very happy having a grandchild and that is why I am here. I traveled all the way from Lagos to this place just to celebrate with the family. I told him (Nwoko) and the mother to call him Ifechukwude which means what God has written.” Ojegwu said
Speaking at the event , Mr. Nwoko also said that his child-bearing target is yet to be achieved. According to Islamic faith Nwoko said that he’d father more children. The billionaire said he married Regina for being sweet, caring, responsible and homely.
“My little boy is bearing my middle name, Munir. It means light. It is an Islamic name and I am a Muslim. I am still very young, I have my target when it comes to child-bearing and I have not reached my target yet. God speaks through man. So when the time comes, you will know. Regina is a lovely woman, patient, easy-going, homely, disciplined, and peaceful”, he said
