President Donald Trump stopped short of declaring a national emergency over United States and Mexico border

In his first televised broadcast since the government shutdown from the Oval office, President Donald Trump stopped short of declaring a national emergency in claiming that there is a growing humanitarian and security crises in the United States and Mexico border.

In the televised broadcast which lasted for eight (8) minutes, Trump repeatedly drummed the need for congress to agree to his proposed $5.7 billion to construct a wall at the border between United States and Mexico to curb the increasing humanitarian and security crisis at the southern border.

In the televised broadcast, he continued to “haul stones of rhetoric” on democrats blaming them for the government shutdown which has brought untold hardship to government employees throughout the United States.

In a tone that stopped short of declaring a national emergency in order to obtain the required funds for the construction of the US – Mexico border wall, President Trump trumpeted the need to end the 19 days government shutdown.

President Trump indictment of democrats for the cause of the government shutdown is one of the many false alarms for the cause of the shutdown without providing for information on his claims. Many believed that the government shutdown is actually President Trump’s agenda citing his conversation with senior Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer last year when he stated that he will be the one to shutdown the government.

In the statement he made last year, he stated that he will be the one to shutdown the government and he will not blame Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. So why is he blaming democrats for the government shutdown?

President Trump’s televised broadcast had been met with diverse reactions. His supporters has hailed his speech as being the most presidential speech in modern America, while democrats referred to Trump as insensitive. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in a press conference after the televised speech has called on Trump to end the senseless government shutdown, accusing President Trump of trying to “govern by temper tantrum”.
