Liverpool FC is likely to be the next invincibles in the English Premiership as they battle to keep their current undefeated form in the English top flight football. The Reds are currently sitting on the top of the English Premiership table with a point above their arch rival for the season, Manchester City.
Dejan Lovren, the Liverpool Croatian centre defender believes that if the team remain focussed they can repeat what Arsenal did in the 2003/04 session by winning the English Premiership title without a single defeat. The Reds have currently played 17 matches with 14 wins and 3 draws.
According to Lovren, remaining undefeated is possible. Arsenal has done it before, so repeating it by Liverpool to be the next invincibles is not out of reach if they keep our heads together.
In their quest to maintain their unbeaten record, Liverpool’s next battle is to play away at Wolves today while Manchester City plays Crystal Palace at the Etihad tomorrow. A win at the Molineux will mean another step closer to becoming the second invincibles in English Premiership football after Arsenal.
Lovren stated that a win at Wolves is necessary for Liverpool to remain at the top of the English Premiership table, and then they would worry less about the result of the match between Man. City and Crystal Palace. He believes that Liverpool should concentrate on playing and winning all their games and not on those ahead or behind them.
