Michael Flynn is been tried in respect to possible collaboration with Russia in meddling into 2016 US elections. Michael Flynn who served in the Trump’s administration for less than two (2) months as a National Security is likely to be the first White House official to be heading to jail in respect of the investigations into Russia meddling into the 2016 US elections.
Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to FBI investigators about his discussions with Ambassador Sergey Kislyak who was the Russian ambassador and about his role in lobbying for the government of Turkey
Michael Flynn had reportedly struck a deal with special counsel Robert Mueller in order to avoid going to jail for his role in the Trump’s campaign team and Russian-linked social media influencers by cooperating with Robert Mueller in the investigations.
