The Delta State Government, through the ministry of
works and land has taken the following steps in order to solve the land erosion
in Sapele.

The construction of drainage system
in the area that needed drainage. This is to facilitate easy flow of water.
ii.
The introduction of refuse dumps and
dump site.
iii.
Orientation of the Sapele
inhabitants on how to dispose their refuse. It is a surprise that all these
measures that have so far been taken by the delta state government are still to
yield positive result.
