The Role
The
primary role of the Business Development officer is to work with the Business
Development Manager in prospecting for new customers through strategic
marketing plans.

Principal Duties and
objectives
The
Business Development Officer is to assist and support the Business Development
Manager in:
·        
Increasing
Awareness Of Primly Services Products:
·        
Dedicate
a significant portion of your work schedule going to various hospitals,
ministries, institutions and relevant agencies, dropping leaflets/proposals,
and meeting with relevant personnel in a bid to advertising the products.
·        
Build
necessary networks with clinical associates; identify market segments and
ultimate consumers to pursue – Identify the target market
·        
Marketing
Primly Services Products- for sales with the associated Services;
·        
Have
a clear and concise understanding of all Primly Services Products, its
usability, functions and advantages in comparison with current competitors.
·        
Support
the overall marketing objectives of the company both internally and externally.
·        
Source
new partners for the company and develop relationships with existing partners.
·        
Ensure
income generation targets set by the Business Development Manager are met.
·        
Concentrate
proactively on finding and expanding current business into new local, regional,
national or international markets.
·        
Monitor
competition so as to develop strategies on how to improve your marketing
strategy
·        
Engage
in proposal writing and submissions
·        
Maintain
a daily activity log of all tasks done daily and progress level.
Documentation:
·        
Ensure
all relevant documents; submitted correspondences are adequately stored for
ease of reference.
·        
Generate
monthly reports of business generated through promotional activities and new
business opportunities and provide monthly updates as required
·        
Carry
out administrative work generated by the above activities.
Skills:
·        
Brand
Management knowledge and experience.
·        
Experience
in risk analysis.
·        
Ability
to work under pressure and meet challenging targets.
·        
Excellent
Business Development and Relationship Management skills.
·        
Experienced
user of Microsoft office, in particular word, Excel and Power point.
·        
Strong
background in negotiation and Presentation skills.
·        
Experience
creating, costing and implementing sales / marketing / advertising plans.
·        
Ability
to work to targets / goals / deadlines.
·        
Be
outgoing, friendly and exceptional at building rapport.
Qualifications:
·        
A
first degree is essential, preferable in a marketing related course.
·        
Minimum
of 1 year relevant working experience in Marketing or Brand management.
Remuneration Salary: N50, 000 plus
commission
