n candidate to fill the position below:

  1. POSITION
    TITLE: Medical Doctor (1)
RESPONSIBLE
TO: Health Coordinator
SITE:
Mahama  Refugee Camp
Key
responsibilities:
  • Maintains
    open communication with the Medical Staff, ARC Administration and related
    health agencies,
  • Provides
    supportive services to Medical Staff in fulfilling their responsibilities.
    Participates in developing policies for the Medical Staff and in monitoring
    the continuity of Medical Staff activities,
  •  Maintains
    confidential credentials files and electronic medical staff database;
  • Coordinate
    and assist in all health activities including curative, preventive and
    community health;
  • Plan,
    supervise and evaluate primary health care services provided to the
    refugees;
  • Provide
    technical support to Nurses and Lab Technicians through regular meetings
    and mentorship, 
  • Ensure
    adherence to national/international standards, specifically MoH and WHO,
  • Establish
    strategies for efficient health activities and its application;
  • Design
    and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reports;
  • Coordinate
    the relationship with health local authorities (District health Unit,
    MoH), NGOs, UN services and Donors;
  • Supervise
    and control utilization of all health resources including drugs and
    medical equipments;
  • Coordinates
    and advises Health team members to ensure that the program is going on
    well.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor`s
    degree in general medicine,
  • Ability
    to communicate professionally in both verbally and in writing,
  • Being
    fluent in both English and French,
  • Computer
    literate,
  • Ability
    to live and work in isolated areas of Rwanda
  • Previous
    experience with INGO is an advantage
Registered
by Rwanda Medical Council
