to

The Secretary General 
Role:  He (She) is
in charge of overseeing the Fi

nance, Administration, Human Resources and
Information Technology strategic functions.

He
(She) is specifically responsible for:
  1. Management
    and control of the Finance & Administration department;
  2. Financial
    Accounting, reporting and Management Accounting;
  3. Implementation
    of effective cash flow management;
  4. Preparation
    and monitoring of capital and revenue budgets (Cost Centers and Revenues
    Centers);
  5. Taxation
    and insurance;
  6. Revenue
    Accounting and Operations areas Accounting;
  7. Developing
    financial management controls;
  8. Enhancement
    of management information systems to strengthen the internal control
    environment;
  9. Provide
    investment decision support information;
  10. Coordinate
    annual audits by various authorities;
  11. Preparation
    and submission of statutory returns and ad hoc information requirements by
    various authorities;
  12. Administration
    & Information technology coordination.
  13. Business
    and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management and reporting,
    including management and development of policies, systems, processes and personnel
    involved.
  14. Reporting
    and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including
    taxation, dividends, annual report, and accounts.
  15. Management
    of strategy for and liaison with stock market, business press and business
    analysts community.
  16. Financial
    staff management, motivation, training, recruitment, and selection.
  17. Contributing
    to strategic planning and development as a member of executive team, and
    probably keeping and distributing notes and records, reports to executive
    and management team.
Other
areas of potential responsibility: company insurance, import/export
administration, licensing, contracts and agreements, legal areas and
activities, corporate level negotiations (e.g. premises, plant, trading,
acquisitions and divestments, disposals), major supplier/customer/partner
relationships, regulatory bodies’ relationships and strategies, approvals and
accreditations.
SELECTION
CRITERIA
The
candidate will:
  • Degree
    qualified in a field related to Administration & Finance.
  • Have
    a minimum of 5 years experience in the specified field.
  • Have
    knowledge and understanding of the Finance and Audit landscape and
    operations.
  • Be
    proficient in the use of MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel,
    and Word.
  • Have
    excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Be
    dependable, cooperative and a team player.
  • Be
    able to work independently, pro-actively and have a ‘hands-on’ approach.
  • Have
    excellent task-management skills, able to set and meet deadlines and
    multi-task effectively.
  • The
    candidate should be available to start immediately upon confirmation of
    his recruitment and contract terms finalization.
