Innovation Senior Manager “
to start as soon as possible.

Job
Description

One of TUBURA’s core
distinguishing characteristics is our desire and ability to innovate our
program model according to our clients’ needs. As our program grows, we will
need a dedicated team of innovators and problem solvers to help us continue to
improve how we deliver our service to farmers. The Operations Innovation team has
been tasked with this responsibility and will depend on its team to fulfill its
mission. The role of a manager is to assist this team with implementing trials,
pilots, and research assignments to help us achieve a better, more efficient
program.

Primary
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project
    Lead –

    You will oversee and assist on multiple trials and/or projects assigned by
    your manager. You will be in charge of ensuring project quality and
    completing deliverables on time.  You will be responsible for:
    • Designing
      and Executing field experiments and trials
    • Following
      up in the field
    • Managing
      pre- and post trial surveys
    • Ensuring
      excellent communication amongst your team and all other stakeholders
    • Managing
      other team members on the project
  • Thought
    Partner –

    You will work alongside a senior member of our team who will work closely
    with you on your project management. Your manager will work closely with
    you to further evolve an idea or explore a new concept in the field and
    you will participate in group discussions to improve, change, or stop an
    idea from progressing.
  • Data
    Analyst –

    We use quantitative and qualitative data everyday to make decisions,
    change strategies, or explore new ideas. We are all data analysts:
    collecting clients’ perspectives, field teams KPI’s (Key Performance
    Indicators), repayment information, focus group responses and much more.
    You will be responsible for ensuring that data collected is highly
    credible, rigorously analyzed, and clearly presented to your manager and
    other team members.
  • Creative
    Design for Video trial-
    We are currently running a
    trial to better understand how videos can be used to enhance our officer
    experience and the experience of our clients.  You would be in charge
    of creating all video storyboards from scratch, filming them, and
    producing them.  We would like someone with experience in video
    making and editing as well as someone who is comfortable working with
    tablet technology.  In partnership with a high-level team member, you
    would be the creative and executive lead on this project. 

Qualifications

  • Excellent
    written and spoken command of English and French- near fluency
  • Intermediate
    to advanced computer skills: intermediate typing, intermediate Microsoft
    Word skills, intermediate Excel skills
  • Commitment
    to living in a rural area for an extended period of time
  • Ability
    and willingness to travel 1-3 days a week in rural areas depending on
    project
  • At
    least 1 year work experience.

Desired
Qualifications

  • Creative
    design experience- specifically video production and editing
  • Experience
    using technology for social impact-tablets, videos, smartphones
  • Familiarity
    with CommCare survey software.
