Description
• Accountable for overall quality performance of
manufacturing process in meeting the defined targets, in line with the
management and department’s goals and objectives.
• Manage, lead and supervise QC operation including
in-process, outgoing inspection operation, chemical and microbiological
laboratory operation and reporting.
• Implement, maintain and improve Quality Management System
and procedure in line with approved standards and external audit requirements
and communicate necessarily to the relevant team member.
• Manage all matters related to Certificate of Quality &
Food Safety including the validation and verifications of process parameters.
• Provide necessary definition, development and deployment of
product quality assurance strategy, addressing all phases of product
development.
• Coordinate with Production on customer complaints and
trouble shooting.
• Follow-up on effective corrective and preventive action
plan/ audits
Job
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Degree, Professional
Degree in Biology/Biotechnology/Food Technology or equivalents.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Quality Control
field at food industry.
• Have good understanding and hands-on knowledge of ISO,
HACCP quality and Food Safety Management techniques and concept.
• Hands-on knowledge of quality control and quality tools
such as 7 QC tools, FMEA and SPC.
• Computer literate and proficient in both written and spoken
English and Bahasa Malaysia, spoken Chinese.
• Resourceful, mature, self-motivated, good analytical skills
and good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Knowledge of SAP QM system is an added advantage.
