Road Maintenance Fund (RMF) hereby invites qualified, experienced,
self-motivated and hardworking candidates to apply for the following stipulated
positions:
l.
Job Title: Director of Technical support unit

  1. Job
    description
    :
  • Coordination
    ofthe activities ofthe technical support unit in the fulfillment of the
    assigned duties Inspection of road maintenance works
  • Proper
    analysis and verification of costs involved in maintenance of roads
  • Proper
    filing of all tender documents and contracts for programs and projects
    funded by Road Maintenance Fund
  • Preparation
    of annual action plan for both RTDA and City of Kigali and continuous
    update throughout the year
  • Submission
    of progress reports for projects funded by the Road Maintenance Fund
  • Verification
    of invoices from contractors to certify payment and ensure that there is
    no overpayment
  • Regular
    reporting on the activities carried out by Technical Support Unit
  • Follow
    up on reporting of districts and ensuring that transfers are done timely
    for routine
  • Maintenance
    of National roads and District roads class one as well as filing of the
    submitted reports
  • Carry
    out regular evaluation of the staff of the Technical Support unit
  • Advising
    RMF Management on the available budget for road maintenance projects as
    well as ensuring that RMF budget on the projects is within the acceptable
    limits
  • Represent
    accordingly and efficiently Road Maintenance Fund in meeting and any other
    activities as may be required.
  • Perform
    any other officials duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification,
Skills and experience required
Master’s
degree in Civil engineering ,Transportation engineering and economics,
Construction  management and Road safety management or Bachelor’s degree
in civil engineering and environmental studies (Road
infrastructure),Construction and road safety management with experience of six
years in monitoring and evaluation of works.

II.
Job Title: Revenue Accountant.
  1. Job
    description
    :
  • Undertake
    all necessary verifications and reconciliations related to the Fund’s
    Revenues.
  • Reconcile
    due revenues and banked monies from fuel levy and road tolls.
  • Ensure
    that all relevant documents relating to revenues are collected and
    properly filed .
  • Prepare
    and submit in a timely manner a report on revenue actually received.
  • Prepare
    periodic income related reports and commentaries for the Fund.
  • Ensure
    that all revenue related queries are resolved.
  • Timely
    preparation and submission of Income Statements to the Fund’s Management.
  • Collaborate
    with the Expenditure Accountant in preparation and timely submission of
    Financial Statements
  • Preparing
    monthly institution reports.
  • And
    other tasks assigned by supervisor.
  1. Required
    Profile:
AO
in Finance, Accounting, Management specialized in Finance. Possessing
Professional Qualification recognized by IFAC (ACCA, CPA etc) will be an added
advantage.
