Regional/
Operations Manager for our New Logistics Company in Gicumbi (Start date: 1st
June)
H2O Venture Partners
is launching a Logistics Venture (Amavubi Logistics) in Gicumbi in June. For
the Venture we will need a Regional Operations/ Business Development Manager.
The Company will
offer several services to farmers, cooperatives and agrodealers in Gicumbi. We
will start the company from “zero” – meaning that the person we hire will have
to take over responsibilities to set up the operations of the company, as well
as the service offerings. This in
cludes administrative tasks such as hiring
more people, finding office space, buying vehicles as well as tasks involving
our actual services around providing logistics services to smallholder farmers.
Most importantly, the person we look for must be a leader willing to take
decisions and be committed to achieving results.
Working in a
start-up means working intensively and sometimes longer hours than in an
established company. But also it means that you can contribute to the way the
company will be set up and run. We are looking for someone who is very results
oriented, who knows what it takes to kick-start a company in a rural setting
and who will walk the extra mile to achieve our goals.
We offer a
competitive salary with health insurance and the chance to take over a
leadership role in the company within one year including improved compensation
and benefits.
