Information
for international students
Please
notice:
The scholarship
“Deutschlandstipendium” is not a full scholarship for obtaining the
Bachelor or Master degree. It does not include general living costs,
accommodation, flight tickets etc. The scholarship is only awarded to enrolled
students and people who start studying on winter semester 2016/17. Applying for
Deutschlandstipendium does not mean you apply for studying at Ruhr-Universität
Bochum.
The Scholarship Fund
is going into its seventh round: fr
om the Winter Semester 2016/2017 we will
once again be awarding scholarships from the national (Deutschlandstipendium)
scholarship programme. Students who perform outstandingly academically and are involved
in special social engagement can each receive € 300 per month for a year from
the Ruhr-Universität Scholarship Fund.
The scholarships are made available by companies, institutions and individuals,
and the amounts are matched by funds from the national government. With the
help of our sponsors, we want to contribute to developing a scholarship culture
in our country and increasing the desire of talented young people to study.
This scholarship is intended to be a contribution to your living costs. Ideally,
it should lead to your being able to concentrate on your studies and, for
example, finance a year abroad. We want to improve your studying conditions
with these scholarships.
