The joint venture of
NPD & PATRONICS SERVICES LTD wishes to recruit competent candidates for
plan design, supply, erection and commissioning of 110KV transmission line
MUSHA-GABIRO-RULINDO, the positions include;
I. Project
Manager
Will be responsible
for providing project management systems and technical direction to projects
teams for the purpose of delivering safe, cost-effective and quality execution
of Musha-Gabiro-Rulindo transm
ission project.
Will be the single
point of accountability for the successful planning, execution and closeout of
projects which is accomplished through managing all aspects of projects
including scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality as defined in the Project
Management Book of Knowledge.
Will be responsible
for managing the client relationship and keeping company management informed of
project status and issues.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee
that the project is in line with the overall programme and JV’s strategic
and operational plans. - Manage
all technical requirement and execution of the project - Oversee
the planning, support and supervise management team, and follow up on day
to day activities. - Ensure
adherence to the JV’s operating procedures. - Offer
leadership at all levels to harness the available resources towards the
set targets - Initiate,
Plan, Monitor, control and close the following:
- Project
time management - Project
cost management - Project
Quality and technical management - Project
Scope management - Project
Communications management - Project
Risk management - Project
Stakeholder management - Project
Technical Human resources management
- Responsible
financially for the project and requesting all fund within the project. - Responsible
for all recruitment of staff within the project area. - Responsible
for ensuring that stated cost constraints are adhered to and that
financial accounting is conducted in an irreproachable manner.
Required
Academic Qualifications, Knowledge, Competences and Skills:
- A
University degree in Construction project management, Electrical
Engineering and other any related fields - At
least 15 years’ experience in Electrical works and at least 10 years for
transmission lines which shall include at least 50 km of 110 KVA project - Computer
literate with very good knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD and other
Electrical line Soft wares - Excellent
communication in English.
