Duties and responsibilities
- To
be responsible for the timely collection of price and business data in appointed
district;
- To
assure quality and consistency of the collected data;

do data entry of the collected data;
- To
provide regular monitoring and progress reports to the Statistician;
- To
participate in the allied activities that can be considered relevant by
the NISR.

Duties and responsibilities
- To
apply the approaches and methodologies of internal audit
and assessment to programs across the NISR;
- To
assess NISR’s conformity to GoR regulations, instructions and
financial procedures;
- To
verify the relevance of payment dockets as well as all contracts
for permanent and non-permanent staff including consultants. and
the procurement of goods, services and materials including
software and hardware;
- To
assure and certify the financial statements periodically;
- To
verify that the state returns are collected quickly, immediately
deposited in banks and fully accounted for;
- To
conduct budgetary controls on all purchase orders. engagements,
expenses and the accounting;
- To
undertake spot check controls on revenue collection. projects, supply
sites and delivery to ascertain conformity to GoR rules and
procedures;
- To
investigate any identified irregularities and present a Report
accordingly to the Board of Directors
Required Minimum Qualifications and Technical Skills
Accounting Professional qualification recognized by IFAC (ACCA, CPA,
etc.); Or A0 Finance. Accounting, Management specialized in
Finance/Accounting
Key

- Knowledge
of Rwanda’s financial management standards and procedures;
- Knowledge
of Accounting principles and practices and financial data reporting.

IT skills, particularly in financial software (SMART FMIS);
