BBOXX is an international company based in
London leading the solar revolution across the developing world. 
Currently operating in 14 different countries BBOXX has already electrified
325,000 peo

ple.  We are aiming to make that number 20 million by the
year 2020.  Unlike other off-grid solar providers, BBOXX controls the
whole process from design to manufacture to distribution and financing.

JOB DESCRIPTION – RETAIL MANAGER 
a)     
Reports to: Managing Director
 
b)     
Location: Field (80%) and Distribution Center (20%)
 
c)      
Purpose
:
As a Retail Manager you will be a core member of the country senior management
team. You will be working closely with the MD and the management team ensuring
the retail targets are met (sales, installation and repossession). 
d)    
Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring
    each Retail Area Manager meets their objective: sales, installation and
    repossession
  • Creating
    plan with MD and Retail Area Managers to meet targets
  • Implementing
    marketing and sales strategies using the Retail Area Managers
  • Suggesting
    changes to implementation plans
  • Creating
    expansion plan with Retail Area Managers
  • Reporting
    on the performance of the retail network to MD and management team 
e)     
Description of tasks
  1. Responsible
    for sales metrics across the country network of shops
    1. Supporting
      retail area managers in planning for their monthly/quarterly objectives
    2. Monitoring
      the performance of the country and change plan if necessary
    3. Monitoring
      the performance of the RAM against objectives
    4. Promoting
      the best agents, retail supervisors,… to keep motivating
    5. Managing
      the schedule of RAM and motivating them to reach new heights
    6. Building
      a passionate and outstanding direct sales team through the network
    7. Cultivating
      an extraordinary client focused culture
    8. Responsible
      for the expansion of the network
      1. Recruiting
        new RAMs to manage existing or new areas
      2. Identifying
        with RAMs and MDs new areas to expand
      3. Managing
        the shop expansion
    9. Responsible
      for technicians performance
      1. Supporting
        the RAM in managing the network of technicians
      2. Creating
        any strategy necessary for the RAM to meet objectives
      3. Supporting
        the RAM in recruiting new technicians
      4. Monitoring
        the performance of the network of technicians against objectives and
        take necessary actions
    10. Responsible
      for implementing marketing with the marketing manager
      1. Propose
        different marketing activities
      2. Work
        with marketing manager in implementing marketing strategies
    11. Responsible
      for the operations at the area
      1. Consolidating
        information on the performance and operations of the country
      2. Setting
        targets and objectives for RAM, and review performance in quarterly
        reviews
      3. Creating
        monthly plans for country based on targets, and overall strategy as set
        by Managing Director and BBOXX Ltd management
      4. Creating
        budgets for the area in line with monthly and quarterly plans
      5. Coaching
        RAM to become better leaders
f)      
Person specification 
 
  1. Have
    a Bachelor’s Degree and 7 – 10 years working experience in sales
    leadership
  2. Senior
    managerial experience with field and operation experience preferable in
    FMCG
  3. Be
    willing to travel 4 days a week
  4. Be
    an expert with the Microsoft Office Suite
  5. Have
    a valid driving license
  6. Must
    speak fluent English
