The Project Associate – Marketplace for
Nutritious Foods will support the implementation of the Marketpl

He/she will also provide general support to the GAIN country office as
required.
The Project Associate will be
responsible, among other things, for maintaining the Marketplace visibility
plan, identifying new opportunities for raising visibility around the
Marketplace and increasing Community of Practice (CoP) membership. He/she will
also be responsible for designing and overseeing GAIN/Marketplace presence
in local events, such as agribusiness fairs and trade shows. Furthermore, in
collaboration with the GAIN communications team and the Project Manager,
Marketplace for Nutritious Foods, the Project Associate will achieve outreach
for GAIN and the Marketplace by providing information, stories, press releases,
etc. to the media and design Marketplace promotional materials.

The ideal candidate will have solid
experience in planning and organizing events and training workshops. He/she
will also have relevant experience in working with different stakeholders such
as business, government and donors; and experience in working in social media,
documentation and resource mobilization. Finally, he/she will have a good
understanding of the agribusiness landscape in Rwanda.
