 PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Assist
the Human Resources department in ensuring the delivery of quality, efficient
and proactive HR support services to the Rwanda Programme.
 KEY
AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
  • Support
    recruitment exercises by setting and organizing interviews appointments, interview
    folders, and sending, calling candidates and out regret letters.
  • Prepare
    in coordination with hiring managers a 2 days induction schedules prior to
    the starting date of the new staff, share it and do office introduction on
    the start date.
  • Carry
    out reference check, police clearance report and ensure that all new
    entrants have signed off SCI policies and procures as per the standard
    practice.
  • Ensure
    that all staff files and records are up to-date.
  • Support
    in staff filing
  • Filing
    employees life cycle documentation right from recruitment including CVs,
    employee certificates, employees bio-data, performance management forms,
    exit interview and leaver forms
  • Prepare
    standard letters for staff which include RSSB and bank account opening
  • Perform
    any other duties requested by the HR Coordinator

 QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE:
¨     
Diploma in Human Resource Management or relevant field
¨     
At least one year’s relevant experience in HR within a busy organisation
¨     
Knowledge and understanding of Rwandan Labour Law
¨     
Good oral and written communication skills
¨     
Proficiency in working with computers particularly spread sheets and word
processing
¨     
Experience of working within a team and team building
¨     
Ability to work within a multi-cultural setting
