Global
Communities seeks an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL)
Advisor
for an anticipated USAID-funded rural sanitation project in Rwanda.
The objectives of the project include working with the Government of Rwanda to
improve access to, and encourage corr

ect and consistent use of, household
sanitation and hygiene facilities in order to decrease childhood stunting. The
project will utilize private-sector-driven household sanitation and hygiene
interventions and incorporate capacity building at the district and national
levels.

Responsibilities
The
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) Advisor will support measurement,
monitoring,
evaluation and learning for RRSA. S/he will help lead design monitoring of
activities,
including the development of monitoring indicators, data collection methods,
research
protocols for studies, and other tasks related to MEAL. The following
qualifications
apply
to this key personnel position
Requirements:
  • Master’s
    Degree in monitoring and evaluation, epidemiology, statistics,research
    methods, or related field is required.
  • At
    least five years of monitoring and evaluation experience,
    demonstratingincreased level of responsibility is required.
  • Proven
    ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively toboth
    technical and non-technical audiences is desired.
  • Demonstrated
    experience in successfully translating data and findings intoprogram
    actions is desired.
  • Strong
    interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are highly desired.
