Insurance Ltd, are insurance companies accredited by the National Bank of
Rwanda to provide short-term/Non –life insurance.
GREENOAKS Global Insurance, an
international insurance group based in London, acquired majority shares of the
former

COGEAR Ltd and Prime Life Assurance Ltd, both rebranded into Prime
Insurance Ltd and Prime Life Insurance Ltd respectively.

CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Preparation
    of all management accounts as well as financial statements and reports;
  2. Managing
    overall work process of finance unit, including supervising junior staff
    in the unit;
  3. Formulating
    and implementing credit control policies as well as working capital
    management;
  4. Coordination
    and preparation of annual budget, supervising implementation, monitoring
    and control;
  5. Timely
    filing of statutory and regulatory returns, ensuring compliance with RRA
    regulations as well as other statutory bodies;
  6. Deputizing
    for the Chief Executive Officer whenever called upon. 
Qualifications and Education
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s
    degree in accounting, business administration, or related field, a Masters
    is an added advantage
  2. CPA
    or ACCA
  3. Expert
    knowledge of internal accounting controls, industry practices and the
    ability to research and document complex accounting and financial topics
    required.
  4. Proven
    knowledge of IFRS, Taxation system and Financial sector regulations.
  5. Extremely
    well organized and able to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  6. Strong
    people management, coaching and leadership experience required
  7. Strong
    IT skills with a good understanding and use of the Microsoft Office Suite
  8. Language:
    Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English; French nice to have

    within very strict timelines
  8. Proven
    organizational talent combined with a structured approach to problem
    resolution.
  9. Ability
    to multi-task and prioritise, possessing a high level of resilience
    against pressure
  10. Proven
    ability to articulate (verbal / writing / presentation) complex processes
    and tasks in a structured, easy to digest manner
