with computerized HR / Payroll systems, Microsoft applications

social security, PAYE, medical, pension and other payments
-Ensure
that remuneration levels, structure and benefits remain competitive;

Design strategies for retention programs;

Initiate staff social development project for KFH,K staff and participate in
its implementation;

-He/She
should have a Diploma in Dispensing;
-She/
He should have a minimum of 3 years in related field in a Hospital
setting;

be Registered with the relevant professional health body;

Mandate
|
-Dispenses
medications and surgical sundries ensuring the correct patient receives
the correct medication regime and dressings etc.,
-Listens
to patients and gives appropriate advice on how and when to take
medications with appropriate advice on adverse reactions
-Ensures
that the labelling is stable and sure with the correct instructions clearly
defined
-Ensures
that medications are appropriate to the patient’s medical/ surgical history
-Medical
Officer before dispensing the prescription Any medical ,drug related
discrepancies are resolved with the prescribing
-Documented
evidence of all stock movements from the stock room to the shelves and then
to the wards/ departments/patients
-Document
regular stock taking to balance stock in- coming and outgoing
-Participate
in material management techniques to ensure acquisition of medications
, surgical sundries and other stores under the governance of the
department is consistent with usage in the wards and units of the
hospital
