rural sanitation project in Rwanda. The objectives of the project include
working with the Government of Rwanda to improve access to, and encourage
correct and consistent use of, household sanitation and hygiene facilities in
order to decrease childhood stunting. The project will utilize
private-sector-driven household sanitation and hygiene interventions and
incorporate capacity building at the district and national levels.

Behavior Change Communication (BCC) Advisor will implement, manage, and
evaluate the effectiveness of Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) BCC
activities. This position will design BCC approaches, identify best practices,
and document results and lessons learned. This position will also develop
advocacy plans and tools to strengthen the policy environment for sanitation at
the central and decentralized levels, build the capacity of central and
decentralized Government of Rwanda personnel in WASH, and provide BCC inputs to
WASH sector strategic plans.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- A
Master’s Degree in public health, engineering, business, or a related
field - 10
years of public health experience, including engagement of government
counterparts in coordination, planning, and monitoring - Demonstrated
understanding of behavior change strategies, including having experience
related to research, strategy development, and implementation - Demonstrated
understanding of WASH behavior change methodologies
