Duties: The successful applicant will report to
the Director, Campus Services and will be expected to plan, organize, develop,
manage and control the provision of building and civil works maintenan
ce,
estates and property management and the provision of transport services to
optimize the cost effective utilization of available resources, maximize the
useful life of the University’s physical infrastructure and maintain the
University environs in a well kept and tidy condition at all times to enhance
the aesthetic appearance of the institution.
Requirements
Applicants should
have: (i) a Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Estates Management or
related areas; (ii) at least five (5) years managerial experience in property
maintenance and estates management in a major organization with extensive
premises and range of physical plant (e.g. air conditioning); (iii) experience
in transport fleet management would be an added advantage.

leadership and managerial skills; (ii) organizational and communications
skills; (iii) assertive, innovative and pro-active.
